Scones to die for, and a view to match

Enjoy the very best breakfast and home baking by your host Ann — a qualified chef. Taste traditional brown bread and scones, Irish stew, beef in Guinness casserole and fresh fish from the wild Atlantic.

From Ann's kitchen

I make all my own brown soda bread and scones, and our breakfast menu is large and varied. A continental-style breakfast is available in the room. Gluten-free is never a problem — just let us know.

For fishing and walking groups of five or more, evening meals are provided, and packed lunches can be arranged. One evening it might be Guinness stew made with beef raised on our own farm — an unbelievable meal.

Friendly & Welcoming

Our hostess, Ann, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and we felt right at home. Our room was tidy and neat, and breakfast was wonderful. Ann really went above and beyond by helping us with some arrangements for a local excursion. The view from the front — toward the lake — is marvelous.

Wonderful

Our host Ann and family were friendly and made us very welcome. The view from the lodge was amazing and changed with the time of day. Room was cozy, shower hot and breakfast delicious with gluten free not a problem. Highly recommend, good value for money.

Great Accommodation, Even Better Host

Over a two week stay in Ireland, Ann was the kindest host that we came across. Beautiful views of the lake from the dining room. Ann served Guinness Stew one evening using beef raised on their own farm. Unbelievable meal. Her scones are second to none.

Amazing Currane Lodge

Thank you to Ann and Eamon for their gracious hospitality. What an outstanding B & B, Ann is a chef and you can certainly tell! Wonderful meals, warm fire, cosy rooms. Just a delight.
